Dave Deschaine Roofing went Bankrupt — are the old roofs still under warranty?

Dave Deschaine went bankrupt and I am looking at a house that he installed a roof. Should I assume the warranties are void? I assume there would be no money there to back any claims. Correct?

Warranty of the old roof should still be covered even if the company went under, provided that they were a licensed and bonded company. It is extremely difficult to get a defunct company to live up to their warranties. Involving the courts does work but at a finical cost that does not justify the means.
